Hello, I'm new here. I was searching a music editor and LMMS seems very fine. So I downloaded It, and with It I wanted a orchestral plugin (is It a plugin?). I found the Sonatina Symphonic Orchestra plugin, but It has sfz files what seems not to work in LMMS, what is weird because there are videos of people using It.
I'm just tired and confuse after a long time trying to make It work. Please someone knows how to fix It?

If you do a search (top right of screen) you'll see that lots of people have got it working.

Basically you need to get a VST .sfz player. There are several but the one most people seem to use is Plogue's Sforzando https://www.plogue.com/products/sforzando/ Download the version appropriate to your operating system, run it using Vestige and everything works.

Sorry but, how I load It with vestige?
I tried but, I took an hour trying and nothing.

1) Load or drag Vestige into the Lmms project screen.

2) Click on the folder icon.
A screen will open up, showing where all 3rd party vst's are placed.

3) Find Sonatina Symphonic orchestra Vst, then select it or highlight it.

4) Click the open button.

5) It will then load into Lmms successfully.

Note: Some vst's take a while to load into Lmms.
In most cases, normally vst's with a smaller file size, load into Lmms very quickly or almost, very quickly.

(Hopefully vestige's file path, leads to the vst folder.
1) If you don't have a Vst folder, then make a vst folder, then put the Sonatina vst dll into it.

2) Then Go to the settings menu, at the top of the Lmms screen and set the Vst file path, to that new Vst folder, you have made.

3) Close Lmms, then restart Lmms, so that changes will take effect.

Is Sonatina available as a VST then ? Where do you get it from ? I only know the version that comes as a load of .sfz files and needs a separate SFZ player VST.

Finally, It's done, I just had to load the dll file of sforzando with vestige in the second VTS folder and then drag the sfz files into It.

I guess I mixed it up with Sonatina Choir.

Which uses samples, from Sonatina Symphonic Orchestra.
My bad.

Despite the mix up, the good thing is, at least the advice we gave helped.

If you are in windows, you download the 64 bit, move it to program files, then move that to the vst plugins folder and it should be in your system. You probably need to run a check on your daw for it to show up. That's what I do with Ableton
