Assign the Sample Track to a Mixer channel?

Is there a way to assign the 'Sample Track' to a mixer FX channel?

It seems to be permanently assigned to FX0 channel. There is no FX channel assignment box.

No sample-track is a not to be proud of 'feature' in lmms. We recommend to use AFP:

Sorry bro, you can't assign the sample track to a mixing channel other than 0.
However, if you put the sample in the audio file player, you can
