Hi T.C.M.Bruce.
Post it on soundcloud, so we all could listen.
Many Lmms musicians are there too. :)

Yes Brandy is right. You will get much better response if you upload on the LMMS soundcloud-group:

Hello to all those groovers and movers out there.Hope you like my first Tune. I welcome all feedback but be gentle with me :)
This is very good for your first tune.
It sounds like a mash up of different tracks melded into one.
The thing that caught me, is how the track starts up from 0 secs to 20 secs, and then turns in a completely different direction at 22 secs onward.
This track seems to be full of twists and turns.
Which makes it stand out.

Very nice melody and music composition.

Okay, I would suggest, adding a slight bit of Reverb on the Hihat sound.
Unless, the organic sounding hihat, is the desired effect you want. :)

All in all, this is a very good track, for a first tune Mr.T.C.M. :)
Very groovy. 8-)
I marked the parts that i found good in the track, and you did really well for a first time out with a daw! I do think that you have some minors to majors, and those always 'down-wibe' a track. Some does that on purpose (ambient horror), but not sure its the best thing in dance. Set you key and scale and see if uou have crashes with the neighbour-notes
...I wanted to link you to a proper part in wiki, but nothing there.. weird i could have sworn i wrote a page.. hmm :/
Well, heres a tut where i set scale and keys and a bit more, you ofcause already know from your guitar-background, it is kind of 'beginner-oriented, but it also shows how to set those up in lmms :)

Thanks to you both for the encouragement and the advice you have given me. I come from a singer/ song writing / guitar back ground but cannot play any more do to a hand injury, so here i am creating again but in a different way...
Music has been a big part of my 58 years so what i create on LMMS is a reflection of what has infuenced me through my life..
Blah blah blah yaada yaada thats it for now. CHeers....T.C.M
