Won't install properly?

So, I'm running 64-bit Windows 10, and I downloaded the installer for 64-bit windows. I ran it and it said it had installed successfully, but then when I checked the Start menu, there was no shortcut, even under "recently added." Then, when I ran the program directly, it wouldn't respond. Anyone else have this problem? What should I do?

I think ypu are correct, you have an error.
The best thing is properly to un-install, and then delete the former lmms-installer, and get a fresh new one

and in the the setup you should choose SDL as sound-devise


If that fails too, i would recommend that you try the 32 bit

I hope you got LMMS directly from the website, and not from SourceForge or SoftSea. Both are known
to have malware issues. If you did get it from the website, musikbear's advice should work.
Plus, you can find LMMS in C:/Program Files/LMMS. It will be amidst a bunch of .dll's and will have
the logo as it's image
