HOW TO UPLOAD LMMS TRACKS

Hello People !

I have made about 23 tracks thus far using LMMS and was wondering, is there a way to upload those tracks on LMMS or on some other ? i noticed that the file formats won't change to any other media files out here, like VLC, so i can hear them.

You can upload your tracks any way you want.
But I prefer soundcloud, because there is a LMMS group and lots of other people, who will hear your tracks. Just make a profile and upload them. You can join the LMMS group on soundcloud too.

If you're talking about uploading the LMMS project so other people can play it using LMMS then LSP is the place to go https://lmms.io/lsp/

But I guess you're probably thinking of making audio files so anyone anywhere can listen to them. In that case you first need to EXPORT the project to get it into a .wav file. That can be played with VLC, Media Player and almost anything. See https://lmms.io/documentation/Exporting_the_Song

Once you have that .wav (or .ogg) file then there are several places that will allow you to upload it as ACYDE says. Soundcloud is probably the most used https://soundcloud.com/

Ok... Went ahead uploaded about three tracks on Sound cloud .... the thing is it keeps saying "The Track is being processed" and it's been like that for days now..... i guess imma hv to ask Sound Cloud themselves bout it... has anyone here faced same probs ???

I just gave it a try, and i could upload with no problem.
What formate have you used?
(I used ogg.forbis)

I used .mmpz .... it's z a file generated by LMMS itself .... actually in my quest to find out why, i've learned thousands of people faced z same problem.... So can i convert .mmpz files to ogg.forbis ??

The .mmpz file is the LMMS Project file. It's NOT the finished audio that you can upload to Soundcloud.

As I said in my earlier post you need to EXPORT from your project to get a proper audio file in .wav or .ogg format.
- Load a project then from the menu select Project/Export
- Choose the type (WAV-File or Compressed OGG-File) and a filename (it defaults to your project name) and press Save
- On the next screen press Start to accept all the defaults and start making an audio file from the project

Then you'll have a new file with .wav or .ogg at the end and THAT'S the one you upload to Soundcloud.
