Hello everyone

Hello everyone I'm Nate or you can call me Xirel. I'm new to music producing. I'm having problems with my lmms. Every time I insert a vsti my cpu becomes bad. I'm working with Big room house tracks but I can't complete them because Lmms just becomes slow and every time I play a track, it will have buzz sounds in it. Please I need help. Lmms is a good music production software and I really like it but if someone knows what I should do to stop those things please help me. Thank you

Welcome to the forum XIR3EL! First, For you all important links:
http://lmms.io/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=4740

VST problems almost always is a problem with a specific VST. Not all VSTs will work with all software, and so it is also with lmms

In this chapter
https://lmms.io/wiki/index.php?title=Working_with_VSTs
VST usage is explained, and also some of the difficulties that can hamper your attempt :)

If the wiki diddent solve it, you need to tell us
* OS (+service-pack-ver)
* lmms vers
* hardware specification (ram & soundcard is the most imortant)
* lmms sound device chosen
* names and best download links of the failing vst's
Thanks sir Musikbear
As musikbear says, every VST is different, Synth1 is very nice, but also mind-bendingly light on the CPU. Also, changing your sound driver, (SDL in windows, the Linux one says "very bad latency" next to it but it's fine), should fix that crackles, if that doesn't work, turn the volume all the way down, wait a minute and turn it back up. It may be just a placebo, but it's worked for me
You got lots of good help and info from musikbear and mrlmmsguy.
Very nice. :)

I was now going to tell you, to check that same Lmms Settings Menu, and make sure, that there
are no strange symbols eg. # or % or ^ etc. in your folder paths.

Having strange symbols, in the Lmms Settings Folder paths can cause all sorts of weird problems in Lmms. :P

What Mrlmmsguy said is true.
If you haven't downloaded Synth 1, check it out.
It's awesome and has tons of presets around the web too. 8-)
Here is a pic of the link you should use: Image
