How To make Choir Fade/stabs. PLEASE?

Okay, I really want to figure out how to make this sound, HOW? Is this sidechaining? I've already tried messing with the attack envelope on my choir samples but they cannot achieve the effect at the :50-1:10 point in this AWESOME song.

No it is an actual full choir that does sing that exactly as you hear it, so 'all' you need is 30 good friends with nice voices :p
Buut, maybe it can be 'winged'
It will NOT sound as good as the real thing, but it can be 'done'. I will give it try later, so hang on :)

Sounds to me like a sawtooth LFO and a filter, probably bandpass, would do something very similar. But there could also be some reversed samples in there too.

OTOH I've haven't had time to try it so I could easily be wrong ;)

Thanks for the project musikbear, but that's not quite what I was looking for. I just ended up using something different for my song (expect it soon: "Slayer of Beasts"). I actually did try sidechaining the choir with interesting results, (but not that of the song), it had quite a glitchy feel to it. I might just use it in the future. Thanks though! God bless and good day
