Song Export Loses Automation Curve

Having trouble with LMMS? Ask about it here.
I've been using LMMS for a couple of months now, and am impressed with its functionality, but I've recently been having a problem that I cannot figure out how to fix.

At one point in the song I am working on, I use the GLAME Low-pass filter, assigned to an FX channel, and slowly drop the frequency cutoff via a song-global automation curve. When I listen to the playback within LMMS, it sounds perfect- however, when I export the song, it loses the automation. Instead of a gradual change, I get a sudden drop-off at the point where the filter kicks in. I've tried various edits to automation timing and nothing seems to translate to the exported mix.

What's even stranger is that I exported a version of the song last week, and the automation came through in the exported version properly. So I'm at a complete loss as to why the automation is no longer exporting correctly.

Thank you in advance for any suggestions or insight about what's causing this issue or how to fix it.

I think the problem here lies in song-global
It may be that you have found a bug we need to fix :)
The solution for you here and now, is to not use song-global-automation, but to add a normal automation-track in song-editor, and simply just drag the dial from mixer into that track. That will work, also in export, im sure.

Thanks for the bug report!

I have now tried to recreate the bug, but i could not. What version of lmms does you use ?
Hi, thanks for your reply!

I removed the song-global automation from the lowpass filter on the FX-channel and instead created a normal automation track for it, and exported, but the issue was still there. I have tried several other ideas to fix the problem, including changing lowpass filter plugin, creating a separate FX channel and automation curve for the different tracks for which I'm applying the lowpass filter, altered export quality settings... none of it worked. The export just doesn't sound the same as when I play back within LMMS.

EDIT:
I missed your question about my version. I'm running version 1.1.3 on Windows 10.

EDIT 2:
I ended up using Audacity to record the playback directly from LMMS, to capture what I was hearing for the finished track, and that worked just fine for what I needed.
