How to copy between layers?

Hello
My question seems simple however i haven't found any solution yet thus my 1st post.
I would like to know how to copy content from one layer to another. In particular from beat/bassline 0 to beat/bassline 1
I don't want to do it manually. Every single kick or bassline put from one layer to another.Hence maybe there is simpler way?

p.s are there any free saturation tape plugins which works on LMMS?

Appreciate any help !

Welcome to the forum polkor! First, For you all important links:

Yes that action is a tad strange, but you actually just clone the first Beat-&-Baseline (B&B) in song-editor

Click on the gog-wheel, and select 'clone'
Now you have two identical B&B and you just rename the clone to what you like, the open it in B&B-editor, and c´make your changes.
You should perhaps also read

Because B&B strategies can be useful :)
