3OSC Arpeggiator bug

Having trouble with LMMS? Ask about it here.
Hi everyone,
when doing a track recently using a 3OSC preset with arpeggiation, I discovered that at times (not every time) when a note is released, the arpeggiation hits an extra note, unrequested. Below is the link where you can get the xpf file for testing.

Arp

You can hear an audio example at the link below, where I play 4 notes. You can hear the extra note bug at the end of the first note and at the end of the last note.

Arp Bug

Also: if you increase the release time in the amplitude envelope, you will hear more bugs.

Any help appreciated!

No real 'help' available, because its a bug, but its being worked on. Afn the 'sort'-option in arpeggio can be considered as broken.

If i should advise a 'fix', the only way is to make a manual arpeggio, simply by putting all wanted notes manually into piano-roll. -sorry.

Hi musikbear,
hopefully the bug is fixable. I would really like to use the arpeggiator more frequently, if it can be made to work right.

In the meantime, can the piano-roll be used as an arpeggiator? In other words, it will arpeggiate the notes I put in the piano roll, each time I play a note on the keyboard, and stop when I release the key? (in other words, realtime response?)

Nope -that would be arp :p No you need to manually insert each short or long sound in your arpeggio note by note, in the actual piano-roll positions, just like Image so'ish, but with the notes you want -All manually! IF you want to use a sorting arpeggio. It is only the Sort-argeggio, that is broken
