Modifying wav file

Having trouble with LMMS? Ask about it here.
I am new to LMMS and have spent about 8 hours trying to comprehend the basics; but, I find it overwhelming. I have imported a wav file of a solo piano recording. There are parts where I've gotten off tempo and would like to get certain notes back on tempo. Am I able to do this?

I have been trying to find help in the documentation; but, I have not been successful. I have managed to load the file into sample track in the song editor. Where do I go from here?

No, LMMS does unfortunately not support what you describe. LMMS has no feature that allow you to preserve pitch, and length in samples (afaik NO daw can do that in run-time, btw). You need to use a program that can handle wave-lengths alterations. Audacity is capable of this,

and is also good for a lot of other things. Recommended!
Using sample-track for samples would emediately be a sane decision, but unfortunately not really :p Sample-track is very good with loops :

but it is best to use AFP:

for samples. That is confusing and not good. We know :p
Thank you ... that was helpful.
