Hello again, this is a project I'd like to perfect before I release it publicly on SoundCloud. I'd like your input because, unlike my other projects, this sucker has got vocals!. Here's the raw track,https://soundcloud.com/mrlmmsguy/no-labesl-wip
I'm going to add ad-libs and stuff, but my main concern is the mixing. I've got some bothersome clipping points and I can't quite make the track sound clean and professional. I mid-panned the drums with the stereophonic matrix and panned my raps by cloning the vocals to two channels and panning the pair -33% and 33%. I would really appreciate your feedback, because i think this is going to be a big one. Thanks!
[Edit: Sorry guys, the link is now bad, I had to delete the track due to uncertainty of a sample I used, before you say "I told you so, I actually was going to delete it before I used it, but I forgot to. Also, it wasn't a drum sample]

Rap was never my kind of music. :P
Nice track.
Good singing vocals too.
Are you the singer? :D

I never used the stereophonic matrix on drums before. :)
I normally leave it plain and center panned.

Nice beat. The rap seems like a pretty good one too; good message/lyrics mostly with some nice flow in there. One thing I didn't like was the awkward voice crack thing. I don't listen to a lot of rap, but it kind of sounds like you're trying to imitate Kanye West in "Facts" or that style at least. I would just skip it because it sounds really weird.

The main thing you need to fix though is the vocal mix— they're too muddy and they don't cut through the rest of the mix at all, so the lyrics are really drowned out. It's perfectly acceptable to just turn down the accompanying parts and the make the vocals louder if you need to. After all, the lyrics are the main feature of any rap song and the instruments are just the icing on the cake (in general). Just my two cents.

Yup, that's me, I wrote, recorded and engineered the vocals

It's rather the point, sir. The song is supposed to be ridiculous and slightly cringe-worthy. If you want some real philosophical, genuine stuff, I'm afraid you'll have to wait until I finish "Invincible" (or you could look elsewhere too).
Thank you for the feedback! God bless and good day
