i know i've got years of practice ahead of me ...

I didn't really care for the remix, there wasn't a lot of bass in the percussion and the kick sounded too clicky and was kind of uncomfortable to listen to. Also, I cannot wholeheartedly recommend remixing other people's work without their permission, especially when you could get paid for it. I would recommend remixing your fellow LMMSers stuff, as plenty of it is CC licensed and, you might make some of them very happy. Keep trying though

I will agree, that the kick did sound kinda clicky and the Kick should sound a bit louder too.
