Hey!
I am making progress, real progress.
But one question:
When do I use EQ?

I am using the EQ for a long time, to make intruments sounds better.
But in a couple of songs, there is this deep bass pad and I think the frequencies make things vibrate in my room.
I don't like that.
In other (well produced) songs from famous artist, a subbass, or deep pad doesn't make such a vibration on my things in my room.
I've tried a bit with the EQ to correct that problem, but it doesn't seem to work.
Any help?

Making things vibrate means you have some sound coming out at the resonant frequency of whatever is vibrating. You could try to find out what that frequency is by sweeping a tight notch filter around the bass frequencies until the vibration stops/improves. Then change the note(s). But it's not going to have the same effect in any other room so it's hardly worth it.

Better just to get rid of or damp whatever is vibrating. A mixing room with lots of things that rattle is not a good mixing room.

Or even easier you could mix on headphones instead of speakers. Solved in seconds!

Thanks, but I heard a song of me from speakers from a friend. Its the same problem. Its a weird sound. In other songs from other artist there is no problem.

It is sometimes used, to alter a sound, or make a sound, sound better, or even wider in some cases, or louder and nicer.

Like for eg. The hard kick 1 sample in Lmms.
If you add an EQ to it and turn certain frequency dials, it sounds boomyer.

But I have noticed, that in some cases, with certain sound samples, it doesn't always work, the way you would

Wooah! From the way you describe it, that sounds like a Super powered bass dude!
Can you upload a demo on soundcloud, of this bass sound, that is making things vibrate in your room?
I'm curious to hear this.

PS: I wanna see if this Bass, makes things in my room levitate too. He! He!

EQs are powerful tools for a -lot- !
Think of an eq as a selective volume control.
Imo every instrument benefits from an eq, especially when we get to balance between various presets in a total mix!
