OK, I've been having tons of fun with LMMS - one of the programs I miss from my old Windoze days is Fruity Loops.
But there's one thing I can't work out - making a drum loop (sample) fit.
Is the only way of speeding up/slowing down a sample loop to do it in the piano editor, and move the note up and down? This way isn't very accurate so it's hard, for example, to get a 140BPM loop to stretch properly to a 160BPM tune you're composing.
From memory, in Fruity Loops you could just set a sample loop to the number of beats (eg 8 or 16) and it would stretch/shink to the right speed.
Is there a way to do this in LMMS?
Any help appreciated
