Trying classical music in LMMS

I got a really neat idea for a project- one of my cousins dug up a collection of microfilms my grandma had stashed away, and they turned out to be pages and pages of sheet music written by my great grandpa, who was a composer and conductor for the Buffalo Philharmonic back in the day. My cousin scanned them in and shared them with the family, remarking how it was kind of sad that we couldn't listen to it. Naturally, I want to try to put the music into LMMS so we can at least hear it in one iteration, even if it's not exactly what Great Grandpa would have intended. :P

So I put this together as a sort of proof of concept. This isn't my Great Grandpa's, it's a piece I played in Brass Ensemble in college, but I've been wanting to make an arrangement of it anyway. What does everyone think?

That's quite interesting.
I'd really like to know what a man of that time would write!

Let us hear when you're done with one of those compositions
This sounds really interesting.
It has a surreal sound and feel to it. 8-)

What year was your Grandpa, writing and making music? :)
I will definitely share when I've made some progress!
Not sure when he was writing music exactly, but I think it was in the early 1900's, like 1910 or so? One of the songs was dedicated to a barbershop quartet called the "Buffalo Bills" which made me do a doubletake...
