LMMS for the blinds

Hello everyone.
I'd like to start playing music. For that, I'd like to buy a midi keyboard so I was looking for a software to manipulate the sound. I discovered LMMS which looks great. But I have a big problem. In fact, I'm blind.
As I read in other topics, and from what I see after installing LMMS, it is unusable if you can't read on the screen.
As mentionned in another topic, it's weird that you have to use your eyes to create sound.
So, is there a possibility to allow screen reader programs to access the UI. Is it something developers cares about?
I am myself attending a diploma in Computer Sciences and I'm pretty good at programming, but unfortunately not that much in C++ and Qt Framework (which LMMS uses apparently).
Thanks in advance for your replies.

Yes you are so right! We actually already have a discussion of this, and in time there may come news in this respect. I have tried to bring this up, because -just as you say. Making music is something that is a natual hobby for sight-impaired. Unfortunately this is not coming soon.

Thank you so much for the information. I'd really like to help if it can speed up the process. I totally understand that it can't be a priority. However, it's very frustrating!
