Don't worry. They both sound gameboyish enough. 8-)

The biggest problem for both of these tracks, is the loud volume for the explosion and scratch sounds. :P

Jungle: The repeating melody sounds really nice. 8-)
The game boy explosion sound playing throughout the track, is too loud, and drowns out most of the other sounds, from time to time.

From 1:40 to 1:49 secs, I noticed a short silence.
Try filling up that silence, by adding a low melody synth sound to play in the background.
Or a very low volume pad sound or some other sound, to indicate to the listener, that the track has not ended yet.

It's obvious to me, that some of the out of key notes, in this Jungle track are deliberately played that way.
And it adds to the music and makes the track, sound very gameboyish. :)

This Jungle track is nice. :)

Bionicle heroes demake: Is good too. 8-)
But, the explosion and scratch sounds, are too loud and drown out the main melody and the rest of the other instruments.
A good example of this is from: 6 secs to 27 secs and 55 secs to 1:19 secs.

From 41 secs to 54 secs, I suggest adding a bit of calf reverb/echo or both, to that synth sound, that plays at the same time with the melody. That will make it sound more epic. :)

Both of these tracks sound nice and gameboyish enough though.
Nice work dude. :)
