I gues you think of vst support without Vestige, No that is not planned.
I also saw your post in 'Suggestions'. There you write:
Because most VST crash
I have to disagree with that statement. For every vst that does not work with lmms, there are at least 90 that does work.
I guess you have a vst that you would like to use, but that particular vst does not work. That is ofcause annoying, but quite 'normal' if you take a look at what is posted on other DAW forums.
Lmms does have problems with some vst's, and a lot is being done to solve this problem. But vst without Vestige, is propl. not coming.

What VST is it you specifically has issue with
If you can make a list, i or others, may be able to give you working alternatives.

LMMS maybe are OK with VST fx, but crash constantly with VST instruments, automation is very bad, no assignable MIDI CC for control instruments, no multi out support. Maybe because VST support is based on Linux libraries? Why not introduce Windows based VST handling for Windows version? Other free soft like Openmpt and etc. has normal ?Steinberg based? VST handling and they are free, so no lisensing problems here. LMMS crash any time as I open VST's in chaotic with most VST except maybe Synth1 and some SynthEdit synths. "Save each step" workflow is very irritative and native instruments are very low quality, mostly useless for me.

VST support is not based on Linux.

Because I am on Linux and I need wine to use vst in lmms. (wine is to keep it simple, a windows emulator)

Vst in general do make LMMS less stable, but it mostly depends on the vst.

Some vst work fine on windows but not on Linux. So if we only look at vst windows is the better os to use.

Synth 1 one works great, and a few mini moog I have work fine too.

I have been disappointed too, I found a vst of a drummachine jean michel jarre uses.
Works fine under windows, but not under Linux. ( in lmms )

I no need help for search working alternatives. I have licensed Renoise, freeware OpenMPT and Tracktion 4, but i just like sometimes workflow in LMMS. If you not planning introduce normal VST support, I just leave LMMS. How you see I have alternatives. :)

And it wont have cost you a dime, cause lmms is free. Made by voluntaries as a completely NP project, and given to anyone.
Sorry to see you go, but good luck with your projects on an other daw.
