It might be worth asking for tutorials on installing lmms from source on distros like gentoo bsd etcetera. show how to configure audio etcetera and show to uncomment /etc/pulse/default.pa etcetera.

you could even show how ot install jack audio or alsa from source etcetera. That way no matter what distro you have you can install lmms.

Anyone that knows how to do these are MOST welcome to write tutorials, and i will make sure they are included in wiki, or you can ask for a wiki edit logon (@Umcaruje), and do it there.
