That is good! It is especially interesting to move W/D because the widening has a larger span, than the dedicated stereo-widener, but i believe the control is more advanced in stereo-matrix, but i like the creative idea!

Useful in many instances. Good one!

Sorry, it's not a widener, it's a narrower. On the plugin it says "Stereo image width reduction".
With strength=1, it cancel the differences between the left and right channels, so we listen to the equivalent of a mono signal.
With strength=0, the signal is not modified.

As it is a narrower, this plugin is only useful when the content of the left channel is different from the right channel.

To widen stereo, you have the Stereo Enhancer Effect.
