Is it possible to use a midi controller to toggle stacking on and off, rather than having to hold the button down in order to have sticking enabled?

Sir! For now, you are probably the only dedicated LMMS user testing a launchpad's compatibility and trying to fix it. I might go as far to say that
you are the de facto expert in this. I'm not trying to snip here, but if you could test your controller, find ALL of it's potential compatibility issues and
then post about it, I think you can save us all some time, and provide devel with a single, cohesive, point of reference. Don't take it personally

My question was if it was possible in software. The controller sends midi control change values. Is it possible to toggle stacking on and off when a midi control change happens?

Only a person with the same hw as you will be able to know.
In case you figure something out, it could be of interest for
some, to know the solution

It is nothing to do with my hardware, I can perss the button and while I hold it down stacking is on.
This is software, the option to use the button as a toggle is 100% software. OR is this something else I have to add to my python-script-for-doing-the-things-lmms-can't-do?

Yup. While you might be as willing to write, debug, and find new issues for the launchpad as having your Lucario Flamethrowered, you're probably going to be the only one doing it...
