New Track: Hurricain [My little brother a prodigy?]

So my little brother, who's 14 years old, voiced an interest in learning so I got him set up with LMMS and taught him in the course of like an hour between 2 days about the basics (He knows theory somewhat because he's done piano for a few years).

Anyways, I started one with him (I wrote the intro), and I came back the next day to find he turned it into a complete, actually pretty great, song (This will be his 3rd in LMMS). All I did after the fact was a bit of sound mixing and such but it's pretty much 80% all him if not more.

Thoughts?

(Note: A nickname of his when he was a toddler was tornado T.. So he decided he wanted that for his DJ name xD)

First of all, im delighted that someone can get the grasp of lmms in that short time. Ok, you was there, and a mentor in invaluable, but its great that you brother can do that well, after so short time.

Its a an interesting track, but closer to rap than edm, imo. The synkopation is really catchy, and works.
There are some notes of scale i think, but thats not uncommon in rap.

Could you ask your brother to name 5 functionalities that annoyed him doing his first project, and rank them. 1 for the most annoying. I can use that.
Apart from the creepy picture, the track is quite good. I can see where he just duplicated the track several times, but who doesn't do that? Some of us are just better at disguising it. ;) He gets my follow. :)
He's got mad skillz. Kudos to you for showing him the ropes. It was a little repetitious but hey, it's his third track. And the composition in it self suggested a good grasp of complex melody.

Yeah I can. I've been working more with him on sound mixing and his transitions and base lines etc, but he seemed to pick up the mechanics of it all surprisingly well, I'm a lil jealous tbh, I'll ask him and I'll let him respond in a message to you from my acc here.

Yeah he knows his theory, he's been playing piano for quite some time. Just trying to get him to move away from the rigidity of classical theory and modes and all that. xD
I will admit, he did good here with this track.
Good work Tornado T, with help from DJ Void. ;) :D
You're very fortunate to have someone, to teach you Lmms. 8-)

Wooah. I agree with Gideon Stephen.
That is one strangely unusual, yet strangely interestingly creepy, cover art pic. :D
I can't remember, ever seeing anything like that before.

Thanks for the encouragement to both you and everyone else. You guys made his day with the positive feedback. :)
