VST Detuning Problems

Having trouble with LMMS? Ask about it here.
Hi there, I'm new here. I'm looking for any insight about detuning notes of VST plugin. I have read many articles and blogs that said VST plugin cannot be detuned, unless by dragging pitch knob to the automation editor. But the effect will change the whole notes, not the particular note. I don't want to give up in this stuff. So maybe anyone here could help me figure this out?

Thanks.
Any particular VST plugin ?

You can do some very strange tuning in ZynAddSubFX though that's built-in not a VST but I'm not sure what you mean by changing "the whole note not the particular note". You want most notes normal but odd ones out of tune ? If you're playing via MIDI It sounds a bit like what people normally use either MIDI Pitch bend or Modulation for but LMMS doesn't record them AFAIK. So you're left with using the Detune mode in the Piano roll editor, see https://lmms.io/documentation/Piano_Roll_Editor That may be what you want.

Welcome to the forum Leo! First, For you, all important links:

And a few rules for Avatars, signatures, posting and using the right sub-forum :)

To me it sound that you are talking about micro-tonal-tuning, which is what Steve call 'very strange tuning' :p, and it is indeed peculiar.
But in zynAddSubFX (zasfx) you DO have that option, but it is in NO way a simple task.
You can learn about the zasfx interfase from several of my video tutorials
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCIfZfd ... vp6C8XAJUw
but i have not made a specific micro-tonal-tutorial, mostly because it is not something i have any interest in :p

May i ask, what kind of music is it you aim to make?

Welcome Leo.
Could you give us, a bit more info, on what you're trying to do?

And as musikbear asked:
What type of music, are you interested in making?
VST plugins, being MIDI-based, don't understand detuning, which is an internal feature of LMMS
