How do I change one instrument in midi file?

Hi!
Im new user of LMMS, i have imported midi file, I use general user soundfont.
So I want to change one sound of a midi file (its a titanic theme- i want to change piano to short record of my voice)
So what I do is to grab the file of my record into Sf2Player that plays the piano in song editor, however I only hear strange noises after I do this- buzzing and some other things, the song is totally messed up.
Can anyone help me with this?

Yes you can change or rather replace a sf2-player-track, with a new plug-in. In your case, where you want a voice sample to replace the current sf2, you do that this way:

Open the sf2 so its UI is shown. It is now the focussed-plugin or instrument.
From the plug-in collection in side-bar, drag a
AudioFileProcessor (AFP)

in and drop in on the sf2-player.
The notes will be preserved, but the plug-in vil change to AFP. Then you insert your sample in AFP, as described here:
