Can't change pitch, volume or BPM

This is a very strange and new issue, and a problem I only have with one of my files

In my other files there is no problem, but with one I simply can not change the pitch, the volume or the BPM. When I do, and then play the track, the new setting just resets itself, goes back to its default setting.

If I change the pitch while playing, the change happens. But once I stop the track and play it over again, the pitch has changed back to its default setting. Same with the volume and BPM.

I have restarted the program, the computer, uninstalled, reinstalled, installed different LMMS versions. The problem remains with this one file.

It does seem like the problem is with the file.

Sounds like it has some "song-global automation" set up...you get that with some imported MIDI files. See https://lmms.io/documentation/Working_with_Automation

Right click on one of the offending values e.g. BPM and select "Remove song-global automation" then try it. If that's it you may then have to do the same for each of the affected controls.

Wooah! This is a strange problem.
Try Slipstick's advice, and tell us what happens from there.
