Hey,
i have some trouble to open a file. it crashes/freezes at 66% every time i try to open. I've tried to open it in different lmms versions on my own system. nothing helps. perhaps any other user can try to open my file on a different system? friends of mine had problems with the new lmms beta 1.1.90 - i have too. i've read about a better troubleshooting in that version, anybody here who can try it in that one?

(Btw Trouble-shooting is not different in stable and PR. Stable 1.1.3 is 'stable' :p PR has hickups..

Looks like you used 120 actual instruments in the project........
Did you infact 'just' load every zynAddSubFX that exists, just to listen to them ? :p
That is beyond LMMS to cope with that.
I can salvage some tunes / tracks, but tell me are they identical?
If not, a list of those that are most valuable for you would help 8)

Buuut 120 instruments.. thats over the top, and also need a huge amount of ram.

But i think it's not small, it's a collection of lines, i think ca 30 lines?!
did it work at your system? how many instruments? really don't know that

I think the last 10-15 lines in that file would help me

the problem is that i don't see what you see atm. could you upload a screenshot of the last lines? i think only the last ones are activated but i'm not sure. perhaps there is only one active line. instruments: yep, there are masses of instruments loaded, i used to collect in that file but it was no problem only in that file. the last one with an similar number of instruments/files loaded can be opened.

Il just 'snag' them cause they are irrelevant, but obs the total line count :p

I will attempt to create a project with the last 20 instruments, perhaps that will be sufficient.

Ok now i know what you mean with lines i think it's my fault
in the screenshot you can see an older file which i can open without problems. in the new one you got there are only a few more beat/basslines. i need all beat/basslines from the new file after the one named "bruch". it's the first one on the screen which is marked/activated.

you opened the file only in an editor? which one did you use/how did you opened that?
if you try to open it with lmms did it work?

No i decompressed it and piped it to a new file: I opened it in AS+ 'fastDevellopC3' editor, for programming.
