Sustain pedal from a previously-recorded MIDI file

Hi,
I have a MIDI file I recorded some time ago using a keyboard.
This MIDI file contains the sustan pedal events as recorded at that time.
However, if I import the file into LMMS, the pedal effect is not applied.
Is there any way for the sustain pedal events to be taken into account when importing the MIDI file?

Thanks,
M

It does seem like LMMS may throw away most if not all of the CC information, like CC64 Sustain/Damper. It's just possible that the data is preserved but the instrument(s) don't use it....but when I set up a very simple test I couldn't find any instrument that did anything with sustain. In Windows Media Player and in my other DAW the file played normally so I guess it has to be LMMS.

Let's hope someone who knows more about the internals of LMMS can help.
