Im trying to get use to the lmms program and I have seen videos of making dramatic/orchestral music on FLstudio. Is it possible to do the same on here and if so, how?

Yes you can make dramatic/orchestral type music.

Also, learning to make synth sounds, is a good idea too.
If you want, you can download some free orchestral/instrument Sound Font files, samples,
and free orchestral Vst's like DSK's Music Vst's, put them all together and make a song.

..And lmms is a full DAW. There does not exists any type of music, you cant make in lmms :)
