I've been working on this the past week and would really appreciate some feedback. Pretty much I think all I need to do is do some final mixing on the side-chain and compress the track.

You have something going on there.
Interesting choice of synth sounds and the snare sounds loud and good enough.
The drum has a tiney problem. It sounds drowned out, and it needs to be a bit louder.
If possible, use/add one of Lmms' EQ plugins to the drum sound, to help with that.
Eq'ing a drum sound, can make it sound fuller and louder etc.

I'll give my final thoughts, when you release the finished mixed version.
Take your time, I'll wait. Good work so far.

Oh yeah I am taking my time. And I know, like I said, I did light EQing and mixing. But I save the majority of all of that for last usually. That's my next step. And thanks, lets hope I don't screw this one up cx

Yeah that side/mid support is not something you really ever find in free VST/VSTi's. It's really nice and helpful I love it. Lol it takes forever to open the project file every time I do cuz' of the millions of vocal chop samples in it ><
