Glitch VST

Anything that doesn't fit into other topics goes here!
I found yet another cool VST to add to my collection, called dblue Glitch, presumably some of you know about it since I did a search on the forums. The problem I'm having is getting it to work. I read that I'm supposed to put it in my ladspa folder so it shows up in the FX mixer effect options, but I don't see it in there. I definitely downloaded the latest version, and even tried downloading it more than once. What could I have done wrong?
put it in my ladspa folder
correct, if you do have the dbG dll in the folder that is in your setup as LADSPA folder, it will show up in the 'ADD-NEW' on the FX tab
However, with dbG you cant add it to the channel in fx-mixer, only on the FX tab of the instrument. the reaseon is that the transport signal do not work for the mixer (yet).
obs
Current version of lmms will crash freqently when you use dbG

br.
Oh okay, I guess the demo videos I watched on youtube were of older versions of LMMS then. But even if I do that I just checked and there's no listing in the FX tab. The only thing I seem to be able to use it on is VeSTige, but that's useless because it makes no sound.
hmm my bad - it shold go in the <..../VST\ > path you have in your setup :/ sorry
So it goes into my plugins folder? Or my samples folder? I checked my VST directory but for some reason it's listed as being on my C drive in a directory called VstPlugins, I actually have LMMS on my D drive. I also did a search for the VstPlugins directory but apparently I never had one to begin with.

Hi there. I had the same problem last week. I couldn't find my Vst plugin folder on my Win 7 PC, because, strangely, there was none. So, thanks to owalllgren's advice, I made a new folder in my .........Program files/Lmms/plugins folder and named it Vst plugins folder.
And I made another one, in my Users/Brandy Starbrite/LMMS/ and named it VST plugins folder.
As owallgren suggested, you can put the Vst's anywhere you want, but he suggested you put it in the LMMS folder, where you made your new folder called....."VST plugins" since it makes more sense to put them there. And is in most cases, makes it easier to find too.

Note: I'm using LMMS 0.4.13 64 bit for my Win 7 PC.

Hope that helps. Bye. :)
