how can i convert my lmms project to an mp3 file ?
Export as high quality wave, and then use audacity (free useful) to convert to mp3

Audacity is very good to use, for recording, editting, or converting audio files into another audio format.
And as caLRo pointed out, you have to download, the Lame Mp3 encoder, to convert your music to mp3.
