Okay, so I'm new here, and have been using LMMS for a few months now!
LMMS is really good for music production (imo) and recently have been getting into remixes.

To cut to the chase, I've imported a MIDI file and have edited it, I then copy and pasted an entirely different project -into the project I had the MIDI file in. But the problem is the project I copy and pasted had a tempo of 116 and the current project is 186.
I know this is a very noobish question but- Is there a way to keep the speed of the copy and pasted tracks while keeping the speed of the current MIDI one when Combined?

Ok, lemme get this straight... you want two separate tempos to run simultaneously? Forgive me if I silently cringe at the thought of clashing tempos. The best suggestion I have is export everything from the 116bpm song as a wav file and import it as a sample track into the 186bpm.

Well, he could be doing a remix where the original track plays, then speeds up with his own sounds. but, do what he says. i've done it, it works.

The thing you ask for is not possible, and i have never thought of it. Afaik, there is no DAW that will be able to do this in any other way, than the one advised by davis: Import as wave.
In theory, there could be an other 'solution', but that would need enormous t&e, and in fact maby even luck .. Because you could attempt to stretch the project to a new length, that fitted the beat... But that would be really difficult
The method to stretch (or shrink) pianorolls notes, is by holding Shift as you drag marked notes. Lmms will then scale the notes proportionally and move the notes accordingly, simultaneous! That is really a very neat feature.

But as a matter of fact, could you try to explain exactly what it is you are trying to achieve, because there could be some other method for that :p

Actually yes! That's what I've been trying to figure out! Sorry for the confusion, all I needed was for the copy and pasted tracks to slow down more in order to fit the entire project under one BPM. Thanks Musikbear and others
