Launch problem

Hello,
first of all, sorry if I do some mistakes, I'm french and I don't write english very well
I'm on Windows 7.
I've downloaded LMMS on the website of LMMS, and when I try to launch it, there is a message :
"This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in a unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for more information.".
Someone has an idea about what's happening? (I think this sentence is not correct... Do you understand what I mean?)

You issue is puzzling, but i believe it is similar to the one i took care of earlier. Here is what i did then, in order to fix it:

I would really really like to see this dot-file that you have on your disk right now!
It should be Win 7. in C:/Users/<username>/.lmmsrc.xml
Please upload that file somewhere, before you try my method :)

I hope that i will be able to understand why some users run into this weird problem, but for now its just ..mmm strange :/

The program is installed with corruption. If there's a 'runtime' error, check to see whether your .NET Framework is up to date and that you're using a genuine windows operating system. If you think that everything is up to date and genuine, then do a complete uninstall with Iobit uninstaller (don't download "systemcare", it's demanding and will cause system failure if not used properly) and see if you can install it on a different partition, preferably an SSD.
