My rather interesting experiment with samples...

To put it simply, I tried to recreate an instrumental of a song by using nothing but samples from the song, cut up using Audacity. I had to do some trickery to get some of the samples (center-pan extraction, center-pan removal) and, admittedly, I don't think it sounds great, but I am proud that I got this far. The song I recreated is of a live version of "A Victory of Love" by Alphaville. The live version I remade isn't used by the band anymore, and they've since replaced it with a different one. I ripped the instruments from a concert over in Poland, in 2007, and they mostly sound good, but I ran into an issue where I couldn't sample the guitars or 2 of the synths, so I stopped working on it (the challenge is to use nothing but samples from the song, and nothing else).
