Lemme know what you think of this. I've definitely been in a bit of a trance sort of phase, and I thought I'd try to go for a trippy, somewhat dark sounding tone for this song. Not done of course, but I still like to get input. https://soundcloud.com/davisjacobym/experimental-demo

That was awesome. definitely dark, and trippy!

This is nice. Sounding good so far.
I'm not an expert in Psy trance, but if the Bass, was made a tiny bit louder, that would be cool.

Awesome demo. The mix was super clean, but wow was that kick powerful. Your bass was really cool, especially with the automation— I assume you used Zyn like usual? FM? Also, that glitchy sound effect at the end was dope. Did you automate volume and panning, or was it something else, like a gate?

Yes, all Zyn again, but this time using PadSynth inside Zyn. The glitch sound is a slightly modded version of the bass with auto panning. There is some filtering I programmed inside Zyn, but no FM or PM for once (I use PM a lot more than FM to be honest). The kick was modified to sound more punchy yet short, so it needs a bit of work before it's just right.
