no sound on windows vista

I have tried various audio settings and get no sound. When I press OK, it tells me to restart. I am not sure what this means, but if I go back into the settings, the audio setting is set back to default/no sound.

Restart = start again i.e. close LMMS and start it up again. If you go back into settings without restarting it will indeed reset to the original setting.

The sound devise you should (must -really) choose is SDL, because you are on windows.
