Hi guys. It's me again. It's 1:29 am, here at home and I would like to know where do I put the Mda talk box, and Mda Vocoder. I was watching a Lazerblade musikhacker tutorial on youtube, called, "Vocals ,Samples Loops, and autotuning in LMMS." And in it, he went to the effects tab. He typed mda talkbox in, and the Mda talkbox showed up.

So I downloaded Mda talkbox and put it in Program files/plugins/Lapsda and when I did the same as laserblade , it only showed Lapsda plugins and others. :? I'm I doing something wrong? All the other effects,Lapsda plug ins etc. show up, but not the mda talkbox. Or should I put the Mda talk box and vocoder in the Program Files/Plug ins/Vst plug ins folder I recently made? I'm confused. :?

I'm using LMMS 0.4.13 Win 7 64 bit.

Also, where do I put effect plug ins like Glitch and Crystal? :) Bye. ;)

I'M GONNA SLEEP NOW!! Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz..

edit| settings| setup| paths
you have a 'VST-PLUGIN-DIRECTORY'
That is where these vst effect plugins goes
Here
https://sourceforge.net/apps/phpbb/lmms ... ?f=4&t=580
it was up last week

however, i have not had succes (on win32) with talkbox. On my system it only distorts the sound horridbly
-it works well on linux

Thanks alot musikbear. It worked sweet. Maybe because I watched a couple of older LMMs videos, before watching lazerblades video, that's why I was confused as to where to put Mda talkbox. :)

And yeah. I have also experienced some horrible sound distortion with talkbox on "win 64." So it seems, it's not only a win 32 problem. :o

Hi, I know this is an older post and maybe this will go unseen but I have a question: so when I tried to extract the files to C:\Program Files\VstPlugins I get a message that says Compressed (zipped) files was unable to the specified directory. Ensure that the directory does not already exist, and that the pathway is valid and my question is what is the pathway I need to put in?

That would mean that the files you are trying to add, they are zip-files. I dont know the exact reason for why you get that popup -except..
* Are you logged is as admin? Believe you must
* what os?

unzip the files, and retry as admin

Hey musikbear thanks for responding. It's a Windows 7 and a 32 bit I believe.

With 'the files' you are meaning MDA-vst pack, right?
You should know that these MDA vsts does not have any UI on windows, and frankly i have not been able to use them for anything
If you are looking for at vocoder you are much better served with Plogue
MDA vsts works best on linux i think
