cant get any sound

hi can someone please help me iv'e been looking for help for along time now, ok so when i open Linux MultiMedia Studio i play around with stuff and put some pieces together here and there; no matter what i do i cant seem to get any sound ive made sure that the sound is turned up on both my PC and on the software, iv'e made sure that my system requirements are ok, and they were so can someone please help me ASAP? thanks

Believe it or not. We get this "same," question asked by newbies, many times on this forum. Lol!

First off, Sound settings, should be SDL.
That's probably why you're not getting any sound.

Next, Go to Tutorials Section: Solving No sound/Distorted sound problem by darkill.
This tut will explain everything, and answer all of your questions.
