Sometimes a question is hard to explain. I stumbled over a page that can help in that situation:

The page will let you build animated gifs, form any MOV or MP4 file.
The gif can then be hosted shortly at giphy, or better! you can in the advanced tab, dl the gif, and upload it, as with other img.
Im not saying that all questions now need animations :p Not at all, but it is a neat little tool, that can help the understanding in some circumstances
