I have downloaded DSK Accoustic Guitar and extracted it to
C:\Program files\VstPlugins, which is my VST-Plugin Directory. It creates a folder: DSK Dynamic Guitars. Inside the folder is a folder called DSK Dynamic Guitars.instruments, as well as a DSK Dynamic Guitars dll.
Using VeSTige, I am able to add a default preset to the song-editor. When I click on it, I am able to bring up the VeSTige popup. I then click on the folder icon next to the “No VST-plugin loaded message. I then get the popup box with for the VstPlugins folder. I click on the DSK Dynamic Guitars folder, and then open the DSK dynamic guitars dll. This gives me the DSK dynamic guitars popup with it’s selections. I am then able to create a piano roll with the acoustic guitar. I am able to create a track with it, and save the project.
When I try to reopen the project, the following occurs:
On a popup box in the middle of the screen:Please wait/project loading/60%
On bottom left, a popup box saying:loading plugin/Please wait while loading vst plugin
The project never loads.
After I hit the upper right X on the project loading screen to stop lmms from continuing to attempt to load the project, lmms crashes.
I then have a box which says:Maize Sampler Player/Unable to load this instrument.
