Way To View and Automate VST Effects That Do Not Have a GUI?

Hello Everyone,

A known / reported issue exists with LMMS and VST Effects that do not have GUIs, where you cannot view the LMMS generated VST Parameter Control Window because you cannot access the wrench icon, without being able to access the controls for the VST Effect.

That being said you can use VST plugins that act as a host and can load VST Effects that don't have GUIs. If you do this though you can use the VST that does not contain a GUI but you can't generate the VST Parameter Control Window so you cannot automate anything within that plugin, because the wrench icon will load the VST host parameters LMMS knobs and not any of the VST Effects hosted by it.

My question is, is there any other way of automating an effects parameters without using the LMMS VST Parameter Control Windows parameter knobs? Like some kind of "automate the last parameter tweaked" type of function where you adjust the VST Effect with no GUIs knob and LMMS can recognize it?

Hopefully what I am typing here makes sense to someone.
I am pretty sure I already know that the answer is no, there is no way of doing this but I figured I would take a shot and see if anyone has any methods for doing so.

short answer: Nop
But a better would be -What vst without gui are we talking about?
I know of the MDA collection, but other that those, i do not know.
It all comes down to what you want.
Im sure we can find a better vst solution, than mda

Well to a certain degree you hit the nail on the head, MDA is probably one of the main plugin packs that does not contain a GUI that I was interested in. I think there are a couple other ones as well but mainly though, I was just curious in general if there was a secret method of achieving this that I was unaware of.
