Freezing on menus

So my copy of LMMS does not work because whenever i open a menu like 'save file' or 'select soundfont'
it freezes for 10 minutes and makes it impossible to get anything done. Why is this happening and how can i fix it?

PS: Instead of playing samples at different pitches like it should, LMMS speeds it up aswell, which is inconvenient.
How do i change this?

Welcome to the Lmms Forums.
That info you gave, helped answer some questions, but you didn't give the rest of the info. :)

What slipstick means, is what Operating System or OS are you running Lmms on? :geek:
Are you running on PC Win 7 OS, or Win 10 OS, or Mac OS, or Linux OS etc?
Lmms, like other software, has been known to glitch on certain operating systems eg. Win, Mac, Linux etc.
And like other software, each OS has it's own share of problems, when certain software is installed on them.

So, by providing that info that slipstick asked for, we can easily find a way to solve the problem you are having. :)

Yes, please show nettiquette. Everyone here are extremely helpful, and want to give new users the best possible experience, but low nettiquette will hamper that process.
