current lmms struggle with a strange problem.
For that reason i would like to ask all windows 10 win10 users for their help.

please post the following information:

* win10 pack version As precise as ever possible!
* lmms vers
* hardware specification (ram & soundcard is the most imortant)
* Did lmms install and worked in 1. attempt, or did you need to run win-update for drivers

Especially the win10 version is important ! -So even if you only know how to give that information, then it will be helpful.

I use one of the latest builds, is that thread only for the 1.1.3 version?

Is this for the RC or the bleeding edge build? I was able to install and run the RC in one go on several occasions

windows 10, version 1511
OS build 10586.679
12 gigs of ddr3 ram
Intel i3 processor (clocked at 2.1Ghz)
Realtek HIgh definition audio soundcard

This only applies to the RC (assuming it has remained the same for a couple months.) I haven't built a bleeding-edge version

LMMS: 1.1.3 working fine. No installation issues.

OS: Windows 10 Home (64bit) version 1607 Build 14393.479
LMMS: 1.1.90 (64bit)
CPU: Intel i5
Memory: 8GB of PC3-10600S DDR3 RAM(2x4GB)
Soundcard: Conexant HD Audio(on-board) and Microsoft driver installed

LMMS 1.1.90 starts well and there was no need for Windows update.
(even when I had 4GB memory before I upgraded to 8GB)

Realtek High Definition Audio Soundcard
(NVIDIA High Definition Audio and NVIDIA Virtual Audio Device (Wave Extensible)(WDM) are they soundcards? )

The install worked just fine.

Windows 10 home, Version 1607. OS Build 14393.447
Intel i7-3537, 6Gb ram
Onboard sound Realtek HD Audio
External audio i/f - Focusrite Scarlett Solo
Both audio systems work well via SDL.

LMMS 1.1.3 installed no problems,running well.
For information : the only user on this system has full Admin privileges which might make a difference.
