assigning lmms kits to beat pads

so i just got the AKAI professional MPK mini keyboard, and im curious as to how i would assign certain sounds to the pads on the device in lmms? i can't find any videos or manuals on how to. can anybody out there help? thanks in advance.

The pads just send MIDI notes the same as the keys do. You can assign exactly which notes. The User Guide says you use " the free, downloadable MPK mini Editor" to do it http://www.akaipro.com/product/mpk-mini-mkii#downloads
