Does anybody else have trouble with the ViNyl effect?

I used to love using it because I love the warping effect you can get out of it, but for the last year or so every time I use it, or re-open a project where I did use it it ends up being incredibly buggy for some reason, creating loud, overpowering noises that literally drown out everything else in the track. Does anybody else have this problem, or know what causes it?

sorry your Q has been halted in the db in think, so i hasve not seen this.
Vinyl-effect should give kind of a scatchy pickup on old record sound, and it is obviously BROKEN :/

I figured it must be broken somehow... just seemed weird because it used to work just fine. I thought maybe it was something I did because I didn't see anybody else mentioning this issue anywhere.
