Has anyone else experienced Vestige is missing? Has a fix for this (or other way to use vst) been figured out? Are developers working on it? My settings already point to the folder that contains VSTs.
I apologize if this is the umpteenth time someone has posted about this. I just can't seem to find a clear answer that I understand. I've googled rigorously and searched these forums, trying my best to follow various instructions for fixing issues that SEEM to be the same as mine, but not sure. Nothing I tried to follow along with worked for me.

tried following along with both threads, but feel like i'm either A: misunderstanding something in the details, or B: not experiencing quite the same issue?
thread A: the solution in the last reply of that link had me very hopeful, but when i extracted the oneiric vst package (at least the one i think i was supposed to download/extract) and copied its lmms folder's contents into my system's lib64/lmms folder, no success whatsoever.
thread B: not fully following, maybe i'm not savvy enough? scared if its requiring me to uninstall wine because i have other important programs in there, and not sure it even fixes my particular lmms issue.
