Connecting my keyboard to LMMS

I have been using LMMS for a couple of months now, and I have recently acquired a synthesiser (Roland Juno-DS). I have looked through multiple 'Getting Started' forum posts, and it all works up until I try to find my synth in the MIDI preferences. The problem? It simply isn't there. The only option available is Dummy (No MIDI support). I have installed all the necessary drivers and things, I have tested it in Garageband and it all works fine there. Any amount of help would be great

Since you talk about GarageBand I guess you're probably using LMMS on a Mac ? Did you see the part in the Release Notes that says "MIDI controllers do not work on Apple (Please see bug #1153)" ? I'm afraid you may be out of luck.

Apple midi support is already fixed in the development versions and will be in the up-coming 1.2 release of LMMS. Hang in there...
