csLADSPA - writing plugins

So. This package, which is in the Ubuntu repositories, should allow you to write plugins faster using csound. A big plus to many would be that there is no compilation involved. I haven't fooled around with csound more than generate a sinewave just for the sake of it but this just made it to my TODO list.
