The only reference I can find to it is this picture in the Wiki art section.

Has anyone heard it in action?

The source is still there. By judging from Debian and Ubuntu bugreports it was dropped for the 0.4 series.

Wait a minute.This Singer Bot thingy looks familiar.

I think someone else recently, on the LMMS forum's, spoke about this same "Singer Bot " thingy.

I can't remember where though. But it would be real cool if they brought it back.

I was trying to find phoneme samples but I didn't come up with anything. 'Allophones' (phoneme variants) seem to be the thing to search for:

Wooah! I wonder if they'll make this "Singer Bot," thingy for Lmms 0.4.14, or a future version of Lmms?

This thing would come in handy for Making Music, with electronic voices and choirs etc.

0.4.14 is out, so too late to get Singerbot resurrected for that. In the meantime there's always ecantorix: https://github.com/divVerent/ecantorix. Not that I've used it or anything, just happened to stumble upon it and noticed it outputs an LMMS project.
